Bigger than the Beatles, more talented than Radiohead, Blue Bliss Diagonal came, sang and conquered. Four highly talented musicians who wrote lyrics of an originality and relevance to today’s high-speed culture, sung in a voice described as that of a ‘sultry angel’. Songs with a conscience, sung with honesty and passion which not only equalled but surpassed the Blues, held heartstrings tighter than grass roots Folk music and shivered the spines of everyone who heard them.
Then overnight – 21st July 2010 - they stopped: disbanded, went their separate ways without publicity or announcement. And left behind a bereft and heartbroken fan-base.
In the past twelve months one of their greatest fans has undertaken hours of assiduous research and carried out dozens of hours of interviews in an attempt to answer some of their fans’ desperate questions – not all but most of the answers can be found HERE. [148 words]
