30/03 'forgot what did'

In the days when we used to buy the children Boot's Scribbling Diaries - remember them? - always one of my favourite Christmas presents too - my elder son used to leave his lying around and open so it was obviously not intended to be secret.   Many pages had 'forgot what did' scrawled across them, but one day, when I had obviously upset him, he wrote in the thickest blackest felt tip he could find 'Mummy is thick!!!' and left it lying where I could be sure to see it.

I didn't actually forget what I did yesterday so much as come to a sort of brain halt;  I even travelled a bit - post haste to buy a monitor, since there is nothing more frustrating than have one cease to function mid-sentence and be totally unable to make sense of anything any more ...

And perhaps it is a good idea to leave Bridie et al for a bit - Script Frenzy begins tomorrow and apart from an hour spent trying to understand what all the terms on the Celtx software actually mean (and I'm little wiser now)  I've done nothing at all towards it, except to decide that my Shenanigan's cast will be attending the Private View of Annabel's exhibition at Chloe's gallery.

  1. Good luck with the script frenzy. Perhaps your muse took a day off to prepare for the assault?

  2. Wishing you luck with script frenzy. I'm doing the A-Z Challenge -- kind of daunting!
