The art of cover appeal - a revision

    1. Thanks Derek - now, following my daughter's (very much appreciated) feedback on reading the book itself, I have to do a major re-write ... I might be some time.

  2. I'm too late for the poll but thought I'd weigh in and say that this and 'celebration' are my favourites. I love the vibrancy of colours in 'celebration' and I don't always think the cover has to directly say something, it can just make you 'feel'. But hey-ho, that's just me and I've bought books without bothering to read the back just because I'm drawn to the cover. If I saw the red cover on a shelf I'd reach for it first, simply because I like red. (And if it had a soft velvety smooth matte rather than a shiny cover, I'd be sunk!)
    Interesting comments on the poll and all good points to keep in mind.
