A scratchy, bad-tempered sort of day - sleep patterns all awry, not necessarily because of NaNo - plus I did some research into art smuggling, which, I am glad to say, given me plenty of possibilities from which to concoct one baddie's nefarious activities. Also I made a decision, for the sake of 'completing' a tale by the end of the month, to completely ignore the additional story to be gleaned from the development of one couple, and just concentrate on the main ones. So not many reported words, but more written which have yet to be tidied up.
This time last year I was much further ahead.
Interestingly, I had a brief mention of smuggling in my NaNo yesterday (but it's set in an old seaside town so it was a bit inevitable really)
