For my dearly beloved spouse who yesterday, despite his fear of wasps (with reason because their sting may well bring on anaphylactic shock) climbed a ladder to the eaves and sprayed a wasp's nest.
Sadly the wasps have rallied.
AJ - thanks for that - he'd've had to go up anyway because they need a second squirt, but I've put mothballs on the shopping list.
Lisa - he looked at getting an Epi-pen some years ago & decided that their effects were almost as bad - he makes sure to have some antihistamine tablets in his wallet.
He is brave, indeed! Perhaps the wasps will move along to another residence.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is allergic to certain insects, as well, and we've been carrying an Epi-Pen for years. Thankfully, we've never had to use it.
Moth balls. That's your answer. Mind you, that means he'll have to be brave and go up there again!
