If you like coffee and poetry check out Pigeon Bike's 6-cups-of-poetry - an e-chap book which took just twelve hours to assemble from calls for submission to publication - and some fascinating poetry too. I'm on the first page.
Thank you MorningAJ - yes, a real event, from (shock horror!) more than half a century ago which Rob's 'trigger' of coffee or tea produced. It was also one of a handful occasions when I had had a premonition, and had known six months' previously that I would not see my grandmother again; when I spoke to Olive in the shop (where my mother worked) I knew immediately that she was dead.
Well done! Very moving poem. Your writing always seems very real. Is it based on a real event?
