The opposite, reverse, backwards-read of messenger of love is 'Sore'
But, as with Christmas, it's the commercial hi-jacking
That aggravates my senses
The 'let's be seen to be' whatever - loved, desired, worth twenty quid of scentless force fed roses.
And not the fact of love itself.
